Lizzy Sarnes Ceramics

Throughout the class were were given the assignment of creating three personal bodies of artwork. I chose to continue a series of tiles I had previously made, hand build a mug, and to create a near lifesize bear head to mount on the wall. 

The tile series was turning a grou of four tiles into a group of nine to be presented ina 3 x 3 square format. 

I had also decided to hand build a mug because I wanted to test my handbuilding kills and see if I could create something comparable to a thrown piece. 

The bear head is tlarger than 1.5 square feet. It was made to look as realistic as possible.
